Congratulations to Capt Flaherty - Army Engineer Officer of the Year

For her outstanding contribution to Defence Cyber Marvel 3, Army Cyber Association successfully nominated Captain Flaherty for the Worshipful Company of Engineer’s Army Engineer Officer of the Year 2024.  Captain Flaherty, now Adjutant 2 Signal Regiment, led the technical opposing force in UK and Western Europe’s biggest cyber defence exercise thus far. She directed 120 engineering specialists drawn from across Defence, British industry and international allies/partners. Her efforts resulted in the provision of a rigorous test for internationally experienced cyber defenders.

 

Captain Flaherty received her award at the Worshipful Company of Engineers Awards Dinner on 4 June 2024 from Air Vice Marshall Shaun Harris CBE, Chief Engineer RAF.
