As mentioned in previous web pages, both Pat Soward and Frank Smith will stand down for their respective posts at the dinner AGM. Both have served the Association for many years and deserve a break. Hopefully a member has come forward to hopefully take over as Chairman and we are also hopeful that a new Treasurer has been found.
The sad news is that in addition to Geoff and Sheila Pinder being unable to attend the reunion this year, due to illness, Fiji( Billy) Allen has had to pull out and today I received the sad news that due to advancing years and long term illness, Pat and Maureen Soward have has to give their apologies. Very sad. Due to work commitments Ray Cank's son Carl and his partner Debbie have had to miss this year. We will have 50 members attending however.
