Each year at the functions that it holds, the Darlington Branch collects money for its nominated charity. For the year 2025 – 26, the charity chosen by the Branch was the Alzheimer’s Society.
In this year, the Branch managed to collect £350 for this worthy cause. Before our monthly meeting, the Branch President, Mr Ray Jeffery, presented a cheque for £350 to Jo Bennett of the Darlington branch of the Alzheimer’s Society.
Afterwards, Jo gave a small presentation to members, giving an overview of the work carried out by the Darlington Alzheimer’s Society.
