Middlesex Yeomanry Association - Cavalry Memorial Parade

The Middlesex Yeomanry Association will form part of a combined Yeomanry contingent at this year's Cavalry Memorial Parade.

Members should gather on the Broad Walk, Hyde Park, at 1030hrs.

Dress is suit, Regimental tie and original medals.

Association Members will of course be aware that 11th May is also Baynes Day, the 228th anniversary of the date in 1797 when HM King Charles III authorised the formation of Yeomanry Cavalry in Uxbridge.

The Cavalry Memorial Parade is the annual parade of the Combined Cavalry Old Comrades Association which takes place in Hyde Park, London, England, on the second Sunday of May each year. Serving and retired officers and soldiers of the Cavalry and Yeomanry regiments of the British Army march to a service and commemoration around the band stand in the southeast corner of Hyde Park and the nearby memorial.
