The Corps lost one of our very finest this week. David McDowall has been such a huge part of our family for so long, we feel his loss profoundly. Our service has been enriched by his Service; always the champion of our operational excellence, and the very strongest of advocates for our soldiers, officers, veterans and families. He led with passion, commitment, humility and humour – with so much humour.
David we thank you, and rest assured we will do all we can to support Valerie and your family over the coming days and weeks. When the time is right, we will come together to remember, to smile, and to laugh about the times we spent together. Until then, we send you and your dearest family buckets of grateful love for your contribution to our Corps.
