The LGBT Veterans Independent Review has been set up to examine the impact of the 1967 to 2000 ban on homosexuality in the UK Armed Forces.
A call for evidence was initiated in early August, seeking the views not just of the LGBT Veterans who were directly impacted by the ban, but also the testimoney of others who were impacted indirectly or played a role in delivering the discriminatory policies.
