I am sending this to everybody on the list and will just use Christian names in the sum up at the end because I am not too sure about the Data protection act. It has also gone out to the three or four people who have decided for one reason or another not to come this year so if they wish to change their minds it is still open
The Hotel have informed us that the renovation is complete and our contact there has forwarded the conditions to Pat to sign and return. All the rooms have been renovated. There are only a couple of questions we need to ask before signing but its all systems go. I am having a bit of trouble finding somewhere new to go on the Saturday Coach trip but trust me, it will be sorted. It seems that the Brewery trips to Burton on Trent are now ended but I am looking elsewhere. A river or canal trip is being reviewed.
Pam and Jade are working on suitable meals for Saturday evening and I will publish the menu as soon as we get it. We are still working on how we can manage the wine bottle corkage.
Coming so far are Kelly 2, Faz 2,Martin P 2, Chris W 2, Brian B 2, Carl 2, Geoff 2, Sharon 2, Alan, Dave M 2, Fiji , Ken 2, Georgie 2, Pat 2, Derek 2, Frances 4, Pam 2, Dennis 2, Terry, Martin O , Chris 2, John H 2, John M 2, Bob 2, Frank. Hope I haven't missed anybody. We will make this the best one ever. The only downside is that I am preparing a quiz.
Still hoping for Trevor, Cliff ,Brian and Selby. Have not heard from Ian Townsend, John Goodfellow, Pearl, or Ben Funnell
