One leap, 13,500 feet, 60 seconds of freefall, £6,425 raised!
On 25 September 2026, seven brave people Sital Thapa, Anne Currie, Henry Mann, Lydia Wood, Ed Swift, Jessica Doney and Heidi Rogers took part in a tandem skydive to raise money for the Royal Signals Charity.
The team, made up of military and civilian participants, wanted to challenge themselves, face their fears and raise money for a cause close to their hearts
For some, the Armed Forces and the Royal Signals are part of their family background. The Royal Signals Charity supports serving and former members of the Royal Signals and their families when they need it most.
This made the challenge even more special.
There were plenty of nerves as the aircraft climbed to 13,500 feet. Then the door opened, and one by one, they took the leap!
Thanks to the incredible support from friends, family, colleagues and everyone who donated, £6,425 was raised.
You don’t have to jump from a plane to make a difference. A sponsored walk, run, cycle, climb or personal challenge can all help.
Set yourself a challenge. Take the leap. Make a difference.
If seven people can take the leap, maybe it’s time foryou to take yours.
A HUGE thank you to you all.
