On Friday 12 July 2024 at 11:00hrs, the Royal Corps of Signals 3Rs Community will be exercising their right to march through Richmond (North Yorkshire) to mark the 60th anniversary of the Corps being granted the freedom of the town and the 100th anniversary of the arrival of the Corps in Catterick Garrison. I have attached a map of the route the parade with take, starting at the Nuns Close Car Park and finishing in the market square opposite the Townhall.
The recommended dress for the retired community wishing to take part in the parade is: Suits, Blazers, Dresses, Trouser Suit, Medals, Brooches, Scarfs and Berets. For those attached to the Corps during our time in Catterick, you are also warmly welcome to attend.
Post parade there will be a reception for invited personnel and those connected to the organisation of the event in the Townhall. We would also like to offer everyone else the opportunity to get a hot or cold drink and piece of cake.
We have a location for this event provisionally booked, but will only activate it if numbers attending make it financially viable.
If you wish to attend this event please go onto the Corps Website (members area) via the link below.
It is crucial from a financial prospective we capture all those who wish to attend.
