What do you know about Trailwalker?
The Trailwalker challenge is to walk, jog or run 100km across the South Downs Way in under 30 hours in a team of four.

Did you know it started in Hong Kong in 1981; taking place along the famous Maclehose Trail where it sought to test the endurance and teamwork of the QGS soldiers. In 1997 it moved to the UK and was held for the first time on the South Downs Way, with The Gurkha Welfare Trust becoming involved in 1999. With hundreds of civilian teams taking part every year in the 100km endurance race it is a much-loved cultural event in the UK Gurkha community calendar. The record is still held by the Queen’s Own Gurkha Logistic Regiment of 9hr 50 mins.

Trailwalker takes place this coming weekend; will this be the year the record gets broken?
