The Summer 2026 edition of The Wire is out now, and it's a packed one. We open with congratulations to everyone recognised in the King's Birthday Honours List, before heading to Singapore for Defence Cyber Marvel 26, now in its ninth year and bigger than ever, bringing together around 2,500 personnel from across Defence and beyond to take on the UK's largest multinational cyber exercise.
This issue also shines a light on Gina Atkinson, whose service with 30 Sig Regt took her through Bosnia, Kosovo and East Timor, and whose life since leaving the Army has been dedicated to raising over £400,000 for veterans' charities. Elsewhere, 2Lt Ladds tells the story of Commissioning Course 252's journey from Sandhurst to the Troop Commanders' Course, and we follow personnel on Exercise Longlook, working alongside the Australian Defence Force.
There's royal recognition too, with HRH The Princess Royal officially opening the Francisca Building at 280 (NATO) Signal Squadron, and the Corps Pipes and Drums out in force at the Spring Corps Guest Night and Exercise Horseshoe Knowledge.
And on top of all that and so much more, there's the usual Unit updates, sports round ups, and where you've been on AT.
