The R SIGNALS Photographic Competition 2021 was open to all R SIGNALS Regular and Reserve personnel, R SIGNALS Cadets, Retired personnel and civilians who work with the R SIGNALS and entries were submitted 24 May - 1 Nov 21. The aim of the Competition is to promote the Corps across social media and Corps publications in support of recruitment and retention.
There were some outstanding videos and photos entered and all entrants should consider entering the Army Photographic competition Army Film and Photographic Competition
The categories and winners are as follows:
a. Sport and Adventure (S&A) -LCpl A Rana
b. Portrait (P) - R Bianchi
c. Life in the Field (LitF) – M Liutkevicius
d. Day to day life – SSgt Cooper
e. Innovation (trade/engineering/equipment) – Maj McGrane
f. Ethos (remembering the traditions) – SSgt Cooper
g. Videography. Category was ‘Your Corps’ – R Bianchi
Overall Winner - LCpl Link
The overall winner across all categories receives a cash prize of £250 and will be featured in the Corps 2021 Calendar.
Photography Category winners – The winners in each of the six categories listed above receives a cash prize of £50 and the best video winner receives a prize of £250.
Winners will be contacted shortly to arrange prizes and a selection of winning images will be included in the 2022 Calendar and across social media platforms.
