As part of the ongoing changes to the Army’s structure 21 Signal Regiment has become 21 Signal Regiment (Electronic Warfare), as part of the Army’s focus on countering new threats. This re-role has seen the regiment move from 7 Signal Group supporting the warfighting division to the Cyber and Electromagnetic Activities Group (CEMA) Group, joining 14 Signal Regiment (EW) and 13 Signal Regiment. To mark the transition between the two groups on Wednesday 1 March Commander CEMA Group, Col Belfour, visited the regiment where he presented the CEMA Gp flag to the CO and the 7 Sig Gp flag was lowered in Colerne station for the last time.
The Commander then received a brief on the Unit and its future before being welcomed to the Seniors and Warrange Officer's mess for the chance to meet families and present Long Service and Good Conduct (LS&GC) medals to:
- Cpl Gurung
- Cpl Gurung
- Cpl Pun

- LCpl Edwards MPGS (former REME), 2nd Clasp after 35 years’ service.
