Over two years ago for the Royal Signals Corps centenary, an idea was hatched that a group of swimmers should swim the English Channel, however, Covid 19 put a stop to all of that. But, in the summer of 2021, the idea was revived and those that were interested in joining the team spent hundreds of hours training in the pool, lakes, and the sea to get selected. The crossing slot was scheduled between the 24 Sep – 4 October 2022.

We can now congratulate the whole swim relay team who completed the crossing in an impressive time of 12 hours 55 minutes and a big thank you goes to everyone who gave their support and enabled the channel swim to go ahead.
