Have you heard of Project CADUCEUS?
It is a study to identify and understand the many challenges the Royal Signals currently face, aiming to support a technical identity and culture, uphold the Army’s ethos whilst maintaining the Corps’ skills. It works in a variety of ways:
- The creation of a new career structure to include new Career Employment Groups and qualifications.
- Improved education and trade skills, making them more relevant in the outside world.
- Competency-based posting using a talent management system that places the right person in the right job based on their knowledge, skills & experience.
The team are now briefing all CLM/Supervisory courses and conducting Corps-wide unit visits in order to raise awareness. Their next visit is on the 23 Oct 2018 in Stafford and maximum attendance by ALL ranks is strongly encouraged. This is your chance to have your say.
