June is pride month, when we celebrate and show our support for the members of LGBTQ+ community, especially those within the Royal Signals family.
LCpl Morgan Rowley from 16 Sig Regt is one such person. Having been an Army Cadet, they joined the Royal Signals four years ago and trained as an Information Services Engineer. Morgan has grabbed every opportunity available, deploying all around the world, serving in the military response to Covid-19 (Op RESCRIPT), taking part in the Corps Snowboarding Camp, and representing the Army at the Insomnia esports festival.
LCpl Rowley said, ‘I came out as bisexual back in 2020. At the time, I didn't say much about it, but if someone asked me, I wouldn’t lie about it. Since then, my confidence has grown massively and in early 2022, I identified as non-binary and now use the pronouns they/them.’
The British Army continues to support everyone no matter what their sexual orientation and LCpl Rowley is a great example of someone feeling comfortable in their skin!
