Last week Soldiers from 16 Signal Regiment were proud to attend the Liberation Day parades in Guernsey and Sark to mark VE Day.
They paraded alongside members of the PWRR, HMS Daring and veterans from the Royal Hospital Chelsea, as well as a strong cadet contingent representing the islands.
The events were a chance to remember those who experienced the occupation and liberation of the Channel Islands during the Second World War, and to pay tribute to all those who served and sacrificed for peace in Europe.
A great few days taking part in the commemorations and meeting members of the local community.
