The Army Reserve boasts some fantastic opportunities, one of which is the Military Reserve Exchange Programme (MREP) between the UK and US Reserves to develop security cooperation and enhanced interoperability as well as broaden professional development, working with a major coalition partner.
Last summer soldiers from 71 Signal Regiment were fortunate enough to exchange with the Delaware US Army National Guard, deploying out to Fort McCoy, Wisconsin. Working alongside their American counterparts, our soldiers showcased their communications skills on new equipment to provide global network connectivity with other parts of the US Army as well as receiving battlefield casualty training with the US Marine Corps.
