Army Cyber Spartan 24 run by 13 Signal Regiment, the Army’s only Cyber Unit is designed to enhance cyber capabilities across multiple sectors, fostering both individual and team development within a realistic and challenging cyber environment. The exercise involved a broad range of participants, from the military and the UK Police, National Crime Agency and NHS.
The event ran from 25th to 29th November 2024, with a build-up week prior, and was held at the Dorset Battle Labs, in Dorchester, UK. This year the exercise had over 350 participants from 34 teams across from across the UK. With both in-person and remote participation options, the event allowed for flexible engagement. There was also a strong international element from countries such as Poland, Brazil, Germany, Latvia, Ukraine, and Kenya.

What's crucial to note is that you don't need to be an expert in cyber to participate - Army Cyber Spartan 24 was designed to help develop cyber skills for all levels, from those with a keen interest in the field to more experienced individuals looking to enhance their expertise. Additionally, the event provides valuable opportunities for the CEMA Group to identify emerging cyber talent, making it an attractive opportunity for anyone looking to explore cyber career paths or expand their skill sets.
Congratulations go to the winning team formed of members of 32 and 39 Signal Regiments, both reserve units.
