To celebrate a milestone in the history of the Royal Signals Corps, two dedicated members of 11 Signal Regiment, Gary Chapman and Robin Dennis, are undertaking an extraordinary challenge. In honour of the Corps' 105th anniversary, they will complete a 105-mile Forced March across three days, starting April 25th, 2025. Their goal? To raise crucial funds for the Royal Signals Charity.

The Challenge:

  • Start Location: Wyvern Barracks, Exeter
  • End Location: Blandford Garrison
  • Route: The march will follow the scenic Jurassic Coast, passing through notable landmarks like Lyme Regis, Weymouth, Lulworth Cove, and Durdle Door, before heading inland toward Blandford.
  • Distance: A total of 105 miles across three days, averaging 35 miles per day, carrying essential gear in full uniform.
  • Duration: The march is planned to be completed over three days.

This intense challenge has been in the planning for months, which just highlights the commitment that Gary and Robin have to ensure that this event runs smoothly and successfully.
