Support King Troop's Quest to Raise Funds for the Royal Signals Charity at the Stafford Half Marathon

As part of the 105th Birthday celebrations, 25 members of King Troop, 247 Gurkha Signal Squadron, 16th Signal Regiment are excited to announce that they will be taking part in the Stafford Half Marathon on Sunday, 23rd March 2025. Everyone is Doing individual training for this and there are photos below of some group training. 

This marathon is not just about running; it’s about giving back. As a team, they aim to raise vital funds for the Royal Signals Charity, a cause close their hearts.  

Sig Keshav Gurung said “The Royal Signals Charity plays an invaluable role in ensuring that those who have served our country, as well as their loved ones, are supported throughout their lives. Their mission to deliver SWIFT and SURE support to those in need makes a significant difference, enhancing the lives of individuals and families connected to the Corps.”

Our Goal: £2000 for a Worthy Cause

Our fundraising goal for this event is to raise £2000 by the 23rd of March 2025. This money will go directly to the Royal Signals Charity, helping them continue their incredible work and provide critical assistance to those who have given so much in service to our nation.
