Support for Families of Fallen Royal Signals Soldiers
The Royal Signals Charity is dedicated to supporting the families and units of soldiers who serve in the Royal Corps of Signals. In the unfortunate event that a Royal Signals soldier dies while serving, the charity offers immediate financial assistance to ensure the unit has the resources to address urgent needs not covered by the public purse.
A death in service grant of £1,500 is provided directly to the Signaller’s unit upon their passing. This financial support is designed to help with whatever is required in the immediate aftermath, including arrangements to support the soldier’s family, colleagues, or other related needs.
This initiative reflects the charity’s commitment to providing swift and meaningful support during difficult times, helping units and families manage the challenges of losing a loved one.
