I'm Kevin, a Sgt in the Royal Signals with 13 years' service, now taking on the Jurassic Coast Ultra Marathon in May – 100km with over 2,300m of ascent.
Having recently turned 40, I've decided to skip the marathon distance entirely and go straight to an ultra. As someone who's completed adventurous training from the Atlas Mountains to the Sahara, plus numerous charity events including the Lanyard Trophy and Nijmegen March, I'm ready for this next challenge.
I'm fundraising for the Royal Signals Charity, which supports serving personnel, veterans, and families in hardship. In 2024, they delivered over £834,000 in grants and initiatives, with benevolence grants exceeding £340,500 directly supporting 1,250 community members.
Any donation, however small, helps continue this vital work for those who've served and now need support.
